Until March 1, 2020, production and release of electrical and electronic equipment products are allowed without assessment of their compliance with the requirements of the technical regulation "On Restriction of the Use of Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Radioelectronic Products" (CU TR 037/2016)

 

Decision of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission from February 28, 2017 N 24 "On the transitional provisions of the technical regulations of the Eurasian Economic Union "On Restriction of the Use of Hazardous Substances in products of electrical engineering and radio electronics TR EAEU 037/2016 or CU TR 037/2016 / EAC Rohs requirements

 

 In accordance with paragraph 2 of Article 52 of the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union of May 29, 2014, paragraph 3 of the Regulation on the Eurasian Economic Commission (Appendix No. 1 to the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union of May 29, 2014) and paragraph 11 of Appendix No. 2 to the Rules of Procedure Eurasian economic Commission, approved by the decision of the Supreme Eurasian economic Council on December 23, 2014 N 98, subject to paragraph 6 of the Regulation on the development, adoption, amendment and cancellation of technical regulations of the Customs Union, approved by the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission Decision of 20 June 2012 N 48, the College of the Eurasian Economic Commission DECIDED:
 1. To establish that:
 a) until March 1, 2020, production and release of electrical and electronic equipment products on the territory of the Eurasian Economic Union (hereinafter referred to as the Union) are permitted without the implementation of conformity assessment and conformity assessment documents with the requirements of the technical regulations of the Eurasian Economic Union "On Restriction of the Use of Hazardous Substances in products of electrical engineering and radio electronics "( TR EAEU 037/2016 or CU TR 037/2016 / EAC Rohs requirements ) (hereinafter - technical regulations);
 b) the circulation of products of electrical engineering and radio electronics, indicated in subparagraph "a" of this paragraph, is allowed during their term of service, established in accordance with the laws of the Member State of the Union.
 2. To request the Government of the Republic of Belarus, jointly with the member states of the Union, to ensure the development and submission to the Eurasian Economic Commission before January 1, 2018:  a) a draft program for developing (amending, revising) interstate standards containing rules and methods for research (testing) and measurement, including sampling rules necessary for the application and implementation of technical regulation requirements and the implementation of conformity assessment of technical regulation objects;
 b) the draft list of products for which the submission of a customs declaration is accompanied by the submission of a document on the assessment of compliance with the requirements of the technical regulations.  3. This Decision comes into force from the date of entry into force of the Decision of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission on the adoption of the technical regulations of the Eurasian Economic Union "On Restriction of the Use of Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Radioelectronic Products", but not earlier than 30 calendar days after the date of its official publication of this Decision.
